This year, the Driving Trials will take place on the Friday before Lowther, beginning with the Dressage. Consisting of three judges, the dressage looks for high quality and precise movements, including circles, half-circles and serpentines. Each movement is rated out of ten, and then all points are added and the total subtracted from the maximum score.
On the Saturday of the Lowther Show, visitors can head to the front of the Castle to witness all of the action from the fast-paced Marathon which ventures out into farmland.
