Get the kids out and about during the summer holidays by visiting the Lowther Show on 13th and 14th August! Back by popular demand, Chris Robson will be bringing his ‘Toy’s from Junk’ back to the show ground, promising to keep the kids occupied this summer.
As part of the expansive line-up of family entertainment, Chris Robson’s ‘Toys from Junk’ helps children make toys from the most simple of materials.
Last year’s show saw Chris turn a drinks can into a moving chariot powered by a rubber band and created a model bird that balanced rather surprisingly on the end of a finger. Perfect for those more creative minds, get the youngsters involved and help Chris make a pirate that clatters down a ladder, with just a length of pegboard and few rawplugs!
At the Lowther Show, children can construct something of their choice, make it work, decorate it and take it home whilst parents can relax and soak up the joyous atmosphere.
The time required for toy making is usually less than 10 minutes and all materials are provided.
Fantastic fun for the whole family, the Crossbows and Catapults Range at Lowther invites all to try their hand at shooting a number of targets. Continue reading “Have fun in the Crossbow and Catapult Range at Lowther”
