The Lowther Estate is situated amidst the beautiful Cumbrian countryside and the 2019 Lowther Show will take place over the 10th and 11th August. Lowther will bring together world-class sporting championships, top-class demonstrations and hundreds upon hundreds of top-line, quality driven exhibition stands for visitors to truly indulge in and experience.

Disabled Access & Information

There is a dedicated disabled car park at the Lowther Show. To access the Car Park please follow the directional signs for disabled parking on the approach to Lowther Castle.

You can also hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair from Advanced Mobility Hire. You can do this online by CLICKING HERE.Alternatively, please do give them a call on 01274 297777.

Toilet & Shower facilities will be available.

Maximum 6 persons per camping pitch.

The campsite will open on Thursday 8th August at 12 noon and close on Monday 12th August at 12 noon.

The latest date for purchasing advanced tickets is noon on Tuesday 6th August 2019. Tickets will be available on the days of the event at the prices above. You will not be able to purchase tickets online or over the phone after Tuesday 6th August. This is to enable us to send your tickets out in the post in good time.

Buying your tickets in advanced couldn’t be easier. Please book online. The advantages of booking tickets are in advance are:

BEAT THE QUEUES! By purchasing your tickets in advance you are able to go straight through to the ticket checking gate and avoid any queuing at the ticket kiosks.

Carer Admission
If you are looking to attend but are registered disabled and need help with day to day activities such as eating and using the toilet, we do have a system in place to permit your carer free of charge. Please Note: this is done on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of our gate staff on the day of the event. Please bring any relevant paperwork with you to support this. The request can not be authorised before the event.

Lowther Show Questions and Answers

Q: Are dogs allowed at the Lowther Show?

Dogs are more than welcome to the Lowther Show, we ask that owners keep their dogs on leads, be courteous to other visitors  and clean up any mess they may leave behind. Please place dog bags in the bins provided, if you should run out of dog hygiene products please visit the show office for assistance. We do have dog water stations located around the event.

Q: Can I bring my shotgun to the Lowther Show

If you have a shotgun license and are the registered keeper of the shotgun then you are able to bring your shotgun for Clay Pigeon Shooting. Please adhere to the terms and conditions and advice on your license.

Q: Is there a disabled car park at the Lowther Show?

There is a dedicated Disabled Car Park, please follow the directional signs on the approach to Lowther Castle.

Q: Is there a cash point machine at the Lowther Show?

Unfortunately there is not a cash point machine on site at the Lowther Show. However, a cash back facility is available at the ticket kiosk.

Q: Can I pay by card?

Yes you can, the main entrance gate at the Lowther Show have card facilities.
